North Peace Division of Family Practice seeks a Full-Scope Family Doctor to join one of three well-established clinics in Fort St. John BC.
Summary and job description: The North Peace Division of Family Practice seeks a Family Physician with full-scope skills/experience who can join any of the three established clinics.
This is a great opportunity for a Family Physician with advanced skills in FP, ER assistance, or obstetrics.
Teaching is an option as we offer a residency program through UBC. We also have active involvement with community partners and Northern Health’s multidisciplinary teams.
ABOUT THE CLINICS: Our clinics are young and vibrant with 6-8 physicians. Each clinic is modern, well-established and furnished with the same EMR system (MOIS). Each doctor has their own space and an exam room, with access to multidisciplinary teams.
Benefits and incentives include:
- Full-Time Associates receive 8 weeks of vacation leave per year.
- You may be eligible to receive additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement.
- 21.35% Retention premium
- Flat Rate of $24,577 for Retention

Fort St John Hospital opened in 2012, with Peace Villa opening in 2012. The facility offers 55 beds for acute care and 123 beds for residential care. Over 25,000 people are seen annually at the Emergency Room. The hospital has:

The Division of Neurology at Dalhousie University, IWK Health Centre invites applications to become a full-time Paediatric Neurologist at the assistant, associate or full professor levels. This individual will be joining a team that includes 4 neurologists.
The pediatric neurology physician will provide primary clinical services across the entire spectrum of pediatric neurology. A subspecialty or fellowship training could be an asset.
The successful candidate will need to be willing to engage in teaching and research activities in an academic setting. A demonstrated interest in any of these subjects would be an asset. However, a previous academic appointment does not have to be a prerequisite. The Maritime provinces’ children and youth (population approximately 1.9million) have neurological care provided by divisional members.
The successful candidate will be required to cover general pediatric neurology on-call.
An academic qualification includes a MD (or equivalent) as well as board certification in Paediatric Neurology. (Canadian FRCPC eligibility). It is necessary to be eligible for medical licensure within the province of Nova Scotia.

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is a leader in health promotion, early detection, treatment, research, and prevention of cancer. Two treatment centers are operated by the Cancer Agency: the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Regina, and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.
The province’s hematology program is focused on diagnosing and treating patients with benign and malignant conditions. It also provides all services for autologous or allogeneic stem cells transplantation at our Saskatoon facility.

Population Base
Saskatchewan’s population is approximately 1.2 million. Residents in the southern portion of Saskatchewan can receive comprehensive cancer treatment at the Regina Hematology Clinic or Allan Blair Cancer Centre.
Job Duties
This position will be responsible for the care of benign and malignant patients. The proportions of each will be determined together.
Our hematologists can be eligible for a clinical position in the Division of Oncology at the University of Saskatchewan. They also teach medical students and residents at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Job Requirements
Education:Degree of Medicine with subspecialty training for internal medicine and haematology.
The preferred candidates must have attained or are in the final stages of obtaining certifications in internal medicine and hemology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or have comparable education, training, and experiences.
Experience in Hematology:Experiencing in both benign and malignant haematology is an asset.
Credentials:
- You must be eligible to become a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
- You must be eligible to join the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Regina and receive privileges.
Other:
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or an equivalent, is available to you

Salary Details:
